Naveed Khan is a late-blooming potter who finds a rare peace at the wheel. There, his mind falls oddly silent—no to-do lists, no existential dread; just him and the clay. He simply enjoys turning wet blobs of mud into slightly nicer dry blobs of mud.
Based in his Folkestone studio, Naveed creates work where the forms and glazes are inspired by the sea, the Downs, and whatever he scrapes out of his kids' car seats.
